Kiddy Cook's programme of cooking activity workshops, underpinned by the National Curriculum's core subject of cooking and nutrition, is an evidence-based, education intervention aimed at improving health related knowledge and behaviours in children.
We use cooking as an exciting way to teach subjects across the curriculum - from history to maths, science to enterprise, technology to geography. All materials are age and key stage approriate and suitable for use in early years, KS1 & KS2. Kiddy Cook bring everything to include all utensils, aprons and ingredients. Recipes are prepared in the classroom and then taken home to cook, so NO OVEN FACILITIES REQUIRED! And we’ll give each student a wipe down recipe card each week so they’ll know exactly what to do! This extends the learning process within the family home and also helps to reinforce family time and bonding.
