Kiddy Cook delivers imaginative, cross curriculum cookery workshops, teaching children the importance of healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle. We provide all utensils, aprons and ingredients, and recipes can be prepared without the need for cooking facilities.

“ I would highly recommend using Nicki using either Sport Premium or Pupil Premium funding to get those very important messages across to children about adopting a Healthy lifestyle" Steve Busby, Head, Navigation Primary School, Altrincham

Kiddy Cook workshops can contribute positively to raising achievement, giving students plenty of opportunities to practice a whole range of skills. Our science and maths based workshops, for example, use food and cooking to explore chemical reactions and weights and measures, and practical activities keep motivation sharp. Recipes and activities are designed to enrich topics requested by your school and support the Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum subjects and, because every school has different requirements, our workshops are tailored to meet individual needs.

A Typical Day
A typical day will provide capacity for 4 workshop sessions and can incorporate all ages from Reception to Year 6. We'll supply all of the ingredients, equipment and follow up materials. Most lessons last for 60 minutes and include a presentation, whole class and individual activities and a show and taste component. Each session will include a practical hands-on recipe for students to prepare.

Maybe you just want to treat them for all their hard work and good behaviour! We have lots of cooking activity workshops designed to whet your appetite and we've also created a 10 week 'Food Foundation' Course to fit in with the new curriculum.
