About:

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was one of the most fearsome meat eaters of the Cretaceous age- 66 million years ago! It means King of the Tyrant lizards in ancient Greek and a full grown one could weigh up to seven tons!

Meet our baby Tyrannosurus Rex, just seven years old approaching KS2. A little nervous about going to a new school but looking forward to meeting the pupils and trying out the school dinners! Keep your hands away from his tray!

This is a life like full body costume that is worked by a puppeteer. Modelled on puppets from the “Walking with Dinosaurs” live show it has animatronic features and realistic roar - making it the most dynamic interactive learning experience you’ll ever see.

This workshop is often combined with our paleontological excavation site, offering each class the chance to dig for fossils.
