About:

FORCES, ROCKETS, ROVERS AND THE HISTORY OF THE SPACE RACE!

A brilliantly fun full day KS2 science workshop in the comfort of your school, using the space race to investigate forces, rockets and even Moon and Mars rovers!

HANDLE REAL SPACE-FLOWN ARTEFACTS, FIRE A ROCKET AND POWER A MOON ROVER AROUND THE MOON!

Starting with a HD video presentation, featuring scale rocket models and items that have actually been flown in space on board the Apollo 11 Moon landing mission and the space shuttle, we move on to investigating friction by taking turns to power our lunar rover around a pretend lunar surface.  This is followed by designing and firing paper rockets in your own space race against your classmates, before a real live model rocket launch at the end of the day (space and weather permitting).

But that's not all, because our website also features many free teaching resources for you to use to consolidate pupil learning or to prepare for our visit.
