“A fantastic workshop offered by a talented musician and teacher! I couldn’t believe how the Y6 class sounded after just one session with Matt! We will definitely be making this a regular event at school. Amazing!”
Mrs Gohr (Head of school) Pikemere Primary School. Alsager. Cheshire

“The perfect musical enrichment, an outstanding well paced workshop. All the pupils loved it, we will definitely book again!”
Mrs Morris (Head of school) Cranberry Academy, Alsager. Cheshire

“Kids that Rock was a perfect musical treat during our school’s Enrichment Week. The children showed a great deal of progress during the day and Matt maintained a fun atmosphere. The material covered was fully inclusive and every child remained engaged throughout, due to the wide range of activities and Matt’s friendly style. I’d certainly recommend Kids that Rock and hope to book again next year.”
Mr Barber D (Director of Music) Brentwood Preparatory School, Essex.

“The children all thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. They were enthused and confident to play, they found it hard to put the guitars down!”
Mrs Smith (Music Coordinator) Duddon St. Peters Primary School. Cheshire

“The workshop was really engaging and hands on for the children. Matt was friendly and approachable, meaning all children were confident to ask for support and progress well. Thank you for a fantastic day!”
Mrs Day (Y5 Teacher) Rykneld Primary School, Burton on Trent. Staffordshire.

“Matt gives the children a brilliant taste of learning an instrument in a way that enthuses and motivates them. He does this in a relevant way, by using current music which the children can engage with. I would definitely recommend his workshops.”
Louise Anderson (Music Subject Lead) Cranberry Academy, Alsager.
A fresh, simple and fun way for the whole class to learn how to play guitar together. Step by step, we can learn to play along to modern pop and classic rock music that children can relate to. Every pupil will play a part, regardless of ability, resulting in the whole class playing together as a band. Get the school camera ready!

Up to 40 guitars can be supplied for the day, plenty for everyone – even teachers!
One session will result in the whole class performing together. Follow on sessions can progress pupils skills further.

Pupils can explore different genres of music, including: Classical, Blues, Reggae, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Classic Rock and Pop.

Many options to suit your school (1 hour per class taster sessions or choose a topic for one class the whole day)
