About:

Dan is a NCFE qualified Bushcraft Instructor and Nicky is an archaeologist, with an IOL Competency Foundational Certificate in Bushcraft. We are fully insured, DBS checked and First-Aid trained. Our lessons are created to be completely relevant to the KS1 and 2 syllabus.

We will provide exciting, fun and unique workshops in either Bushcraft or Archaeology at your primary school! We own our own woodland near the coast in Devon, which can also be utilised for our bushcraft and primitive technology lessons.

Your pupils will become 'History Hunters' for the day, and experience what its like to be an archaeologist. They will participate in a mini-excavation, use metal-detectors, handle and draw artefacts, play games and most importantly - have fun whilst learning! We can tailor the day towards a certain time period i.e. Prehistoric, Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings or Monastic Cultures…there really is no limit.

Our Bushcraft workshops are also filled with hands-on activities. We will demonstrate fire-lighting techniques (always a favourite!), conduct mini-nature walks, tree and plant identification, animal skull identification and drawing, shelter building, working with knots and much more.

We can tailor our workshops to suit you, and we provide all of our own equipment. We can even set up outside, using our own special parachute camp.

Please feel free to contact us so that we can discuss your requirements in more details. We are always happy to help!
